Using the AI Packing Function
Automatically calibrate your recipe parameters for consistent, accurate fills
What Is AI Packing?
The AI Packing function automatically calibrates the feed parameters of a recipe by analyzing a short run of consecutive bags. It's the fastest way to dial in a new or unfamiliar recipe — but once your parameters are stable, it should be turned off so the recipe runs consistently without further adjustment.
Before You Start: Setting Up Your Recipe
If you're using AI Packing on an existing recipe, simply select it from the main screen and skip to the next section.
If you're creating a new recipe, follow the How to Add a New Recipe guide, then apply these specific settings before running AI Pack:
- Target weight — enter your actual target (e.g. 500g)
- Fast Feed, Med Feed, Slow Feed — set all three to 1
- For recipes under 1000g — set the Feed Speed mode to Two Speed (Med/Slow). This disables the Fast Feed stage, which is not suitable for weights under 1000g.
Running the AI Pack Calibration
- Tap Recipe on the main screen and select the recipe you want to calibrate.
- Tap Shortcut to open the Shortcut page.
- Toggle AI Pack on.
- Ensure the hopper is full of coffee.
- Tap Start and run 7–10 consecutive bags without stopping. Interrupting the run mid-way will affect the calibration accuracy.
- Watch the output weights — once they stabilize and remain consistent bag after bag, the calibration is complete. This typically takes 7–10 bags.
- Tap Shortcut and toggle AI Pack off.
⚠️ Important: AI Pack is a calibration tool, not a permanent setting. Always turn it off once your target weights are stable. Leaving it on during normal production will cause the machine to keep adjusting parameters unnecessarily.
