Before You Start
If your Pearl Mini does not include a base, skip this step and head to Lifting and Positioning the Pearl Mini.
Step 1 — Fit the Feet
Your base may arrive with wheels or casters already fitted. We recommend swapping these out for the four threaded feet found in your accessories box, they provide better stability and give you more control when levelling the machine.
To swap them out, unscrew the wheels and thread the feet into the same holes. Screw each foot in approximately 3–4cm to start, you'll adjust these later.
Step 3 — Roughly Level the Base
Using a spirit level, adjust the feet until the base is reasonably level on all sides. This doesn't need to be perfect at this stage, you'll carry out a full and precise level once the machine is fully assembled.
Once you're happy the base is roughly level, tighten the locking nuts against the base to hold the feet in place. You'll loosen these again during the final levelling step.
