How to Oil your Air Solenoids

Oiling your solenoids keeps your valves functioning normally

We recommend oiling Lift air inlets annually

For oil, the options are:

  1. 3 in 1 oil which you can get just about anywhere (hardware stores, HD/lowes, etc)
  2. You can also get specific air tool oil spec ISO 32/SAE 15W if you prefer (the Amazon link is generic, not a specific brand recommendation). It provides slightly better moisture resistance but the lubrication quality is the same.

To add the oil, close your air shutoff and draining all air pressure from the system, either with the air gun, or setting your regulator to 0.

From there, you can disconnect the line on the outside of the box that comes from the regulator:

You can then add the oil to the push-connect side that you just disconnected the line from.

After that, cycle it quite a few times to get the oil into the solenoid either by letting the lift run for a while or by removing the cover from the silver box and manually actuating the valve with the below button.

We recommend doing this without coffee and checking the bottom of the internal butterfly valve. You can apply the same methodology to the Precision Fill by disconnecting this blue tube and putting a drop in the tube:
