Connecting your Double Cyclone

Double Cyclone Valve and Airline Setup

If you have a double cyclone you’ll cyclone will have two bean inlets at the top before the vacuum inlet. You’ll also have 2 x two way valves, these will work together and essentially one will close to allow the other to open.

You will install each of the two way valves directly onto each bean inlet. On each valve you’ll see to screw holes and you’ll screw in your 8mm elbows. You’ll need to use a wrench to install these. The plastic elbow piece will rotate independently from the metal screw. Once both installed, you’ll use the 8mm flexi-pipe to connect them both with a T piece connector.

One tube will plug into A on top valve, and B on the bottom valve, and then you your 8mm push-fit T connector to connect to the back of the solenoid box at the top. You’ll repeat this again for the other side of the valve, and plug into the bottom of the solenoid box.

(If you have a SOVDA Vacuum Box, this will come with a three-way valve that will look like a ’T’ piece, be sure you only select the two way valves.)

To change which Hopper is 1 & 2 on the Control Box, bleed the air from your lift system using the air regulator, and switch the two air tubes (top and bottom) that run to the two way valves from the solenoid box at the back (pictured above).
